Residential buildings have a list of functions, and one the top priories is thermal comfort its occupants. Thermal can be measurements successful building performance, it addressed in various ways to provide good quality indoor climate. The way address need for determines consumption conservation energy. Adapting passive strategies mass reduce energy significantly. Applying these does not additional investment from initial capital, renovating implement strategy will cut usage save financing new technology heating cooling, ventilation, so on. In this study, two residential located North Cyprus with same geographical location, climate zone, different construction materials were studied. study aimed make technical test improve by applying solar efficiency design (PSEEDS). has been used discussed as an improbable technique alongside other insulation shading devices. article discusses compares traditional Mediterranean houses contemporary houses. uses 2D drawings, 3D modeling, simulation programs evaluate both real assumed scenarios. finds that homes, their thick walls built-in mechanisms, require less cooling than implementation efficient (PSEEDS) significantly reduces types houses, but still show more due higher mass. research demonstrates improving windows, examining orientation structure, altering shade devices, decreasing infiltration rates overall up 34.71% To sum up, PSEEDS, performance mass, pre-design measures decrease consumption. addition, implementing during renovation also compensates lifecycle cost technologies usage.
